I, Dr. Mahreen Naeem, am currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore. I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2024 from UMT and completed my MS in Clinical Psychology in 2014 from the same institution. With over a decade of academic, clinical, and research experience, I have developed a strong foundation in teaching, student mentorship, research supervision, and psychological intervention.
My primary research interests lie in eating disorders, self-harm behaviors, mental health problems in mainstream population, developmental psychology, marginalized population, neuropsychology, and the integration of Islamic principles into psychological understanding and therapeutic practice. I am passionate about exploring how faith-based frameworks can contribute to culturally sensitive mental health care and indigenous therapeutic models.
