I am an Assistant Professor, Qualified Clinical Psychologist and PhD Scholar at ICP, UMT Lahore. I am working as a Clinical Psychologist since 2011 and from last 5 years she is teaching and training to the Post Graduate students of MS Clinical Psychology and MS Counselling Psychology. In UMT I am working from 4 years and teaching post graduates Adult Counselling, School Psychology, Psychological Interventions and Adult Psychopathology. I completed my MS in Clinical Psychology from Government College University, Lahore.
I have amassed experience of working with university students, school children’s emotional and behavioral problems, and adults in clinical and community settings. I also got expertise in Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavior therapy, and number of projective techniques. Her areas of interests are Sport Psychology, School Psychology, Adult Counselling and Research. I also got extensive training in advance statistical analysis such as Factor analysis, regression analysis, mediation, moderation and AMOS.
I have enough proficiency in research and supervised 12 MS Clinical and Counselling research projects and supervised more than 150 students in clinical and counseling areas. I am also extensively working at administrative level of my institute. I am actively involved in the admission process, examinations and recruitment process for the ICP. I am also member of Institute’s Graduate Committee and also in-charge of Institute Psychological Testing lab.
I have experience in organizing conferences, seminars and workshops. I have conducted number of workshops and lectures on the skill building exercises for students such as, self management, time management, effective study skills, building self-esteem and confidence, handling relationship problems, overcoming grief and loss, and so on. Also, I gave training in the orphanages such as, Roshni Homes and Salvation Army to their teachers, care takers and administrators about how to manage children’s behaviors in care.
My areas of interests are Sport Psychology, School Psychology, Adult Counselling, Research and Statistics. So far, I have two paper publications and several oral and poster paper presentations given both at national and international conferences.
